I think that my partner and I did a good job on getting the right information about the cultures, it wasn't made up. I also believe that we did our best in edeting the video. In my part there are alot of errors I cold haved fixed. My part of the video is very choppy and it couold have been edited alot more to smooth out the clips. Our story line was good. We wwere consistnet and stayed on the topic of our holidays that we were presenting. The images we chose worked great. The Showed part of the elements that the culture uses for ther holiday. In my part I feel like I am a little transparent, not a lot, because of my grayish balck jaket. im wold have like to add more music, we have music in the begining and end of our video but not trhough out the video so that would have been nice to add. Also more interaction between the two of us. We set up the diologe so we are speaking to each other but I feel like we could have done that more. My partner, Sam, and I helped eachother by dividibg the tasks. We each lookoed for our own picturess. I edeited my part of the video and she edited hers but we both gave eachother input on were we should set out in and out points. We both cited the sources we used and created the title. In my part of the editing I feel like I could have made my clips more smooth because they seem chopy and you can see that it is a heavy transition from one clip to the next. What I would have done differently if I was given another chance to complete this project it would have been adding more music and editing my part more to make it more smooth.

This is our greenscreen project. What I learned by doing this workshop is how to import the picture on to the background. I also learned how to place it so it can be seen as if the person or group of people were actually there. I also learned how to eliminate the green by using keylight.

Cyberbullying What You Need To Know 1

The parts of the video that I am most proud of is the sound and the messege. Im proud of the sound because I liked how we made it flow. It was clear and understandable. It was not to hight at some points and then to low at others, it was consistent throughout the whole video. Im proud of the message because it was clear . I like how we chose to put it together, like starting of with what cyberbullying is and endind with prervention tips. It did not beat around the bush it was stright to the point. The comments we go from others was that we need to add a little more veriety of people but we did not have time to film more people and if we had more time like a day or two we problably would have added like one more person. The understandings that I reached about creating videos is that it is not easy. it recuiers alot of time comitment and patiens. By applying patiens and hard work the end product comes out good and it can make a good impresion on people. Im proud of my and my groups work.

What i learned from this video is on the audio. It feels like the audio of the voice overs needs to be a little louder. I also learned how to notice when to put brakes in the voice overs to give the audiance a break from all the information.

What i learned on editing with this video is how one needs to make sure that the volume on the sound is good and also how to lower voice overs on the background. At 1:40 the lighting is too bright so the thing that i learned is how to use different camera angles to try and avoid the brightness on the screen.

This is an example of a lower thiird. This form of titles are used when to give a quick title while the clip is playing. It is put off to a corner of the screen so it wont take to much attention from the clip but people still notice its there.

This is an example of a panel type title. You may see these when one wishes to give information while the clip is playing. You see these kinds of titles when important information comes up and the clip still keeps on playing. It cordinates with what is playing.

this type of title is used at the very begining. You see these more often than the other too. You place this kind of btitle at the very begining of a clip.

A simple cut in the timeline means there is a gab in between the clips where you chose to cut the selected clip. A ripple delete is a smooth cut. It is when you make a cut and the rest of the clips moved over to make the clip smooth. No gab between clips is visable. Lifting is cutting and extracting is a ripple edit.

This is an example of an insert edit. An insert edit places a clip inbetween other clips. You may insert the clip where ever you feel it will look best. I decided to insert my clip in the middle because I felt like it would make sense to have the woman pause, get her instruction then repeat the exsercise.

This is an example of an overlay edit. With Overly you are putting an edided clip on top of the clips in the timeline isted of moving the clips over which would would produce an insert edit. You use an overlay when you just want to place it on the final clip and have it override a clip. You use insert when you want to add it onto the final product put not override over any clips.

Baler Interviews

REFLECTIONS:

PRODUCT:
I think I am getting better at importing videos into permire-pro and also exporting which is turning project into a file to view it in a certain format. I did a good job of importing the videos and setting the out and in points. I am happy with the way I formatted my video and how it turned out, it is readable. I should have made my ending slide longer because it is only a second long and it can't even be read. If i could do this project over, I would have go back and make sure that I don't stop the clip in the middle of a sentence or stop it while the person is doing a funny facial expression. On my next project I need to remember how to upload the video on to youtube and then onto my blog. On my next project I would like to learn how to export the video because even though I learned that concept I still need to understand it just a little more.
PROCESS:
On way I helped my partner was by doing my part of the project like on moment I would do the ranking on paper and the other moment I would be on the computer looking for the next video to view. My partner helped me by showing me and explaining to me how to import the videos and how to move the edited clips onto the time line. On this project I gained a better idea about how to edit the clips and move them onto the time line. What helped me figure this out was by watching my partner. One challenge we faced was exporting our videos but we over came this by asking our classmates for help and also Dr. A.

Reflections on project 01(

In my teldramatic arts class I have learned how to edit a video. I learned how to set the set in point which is where one can start a clip from the video. I also learned the set out point which is where one can choose were to end their clip from the video. The things that I had most difficulty with was pretty much everything. Importing, which is bringing a file into permire pro to edit, was some what confusing it was one of the easy steps. Exporting, know that was really confusing. Its turning the project into a file so you may view it in a certain format and even though I followed the instructions I still got confused, so did my partner but together we figured it out and were able to move on from that point. Posting the video on YouTube was by far the most difficult thing there was to do because you had to go thru many steps that just confused me. That's the one step that slowed me down because it took me and my partner a while to figure out to post it and then when we did post my video it wasn't sowing up. We posted it on my blog as well but if you are not able to see it because it is "unavailable" that's because something must have gone wrong with the YouTube step. Overall the project was fun, I do believe that as time progresses i will become an amature at creating and editing and posting videos. (:

Lizbeth teldramatic art reflections

my group liked the video "cafeteria" because it showed the act of kindness.
